UVC Germicidal & UV Ozone Technologies


At the heart of the PuraAir UVC Series are high-output UVC (Ultraviolet Germicidal) and UV ozone-generating lamp technologies.


  • UVC light helps disinfect micro-organisms such as bacteria, mould spores, and airborne pathogens that pass through the system.
  • UV-generated ozone works by oxidising odour molecules and breaking down organic and chemical compounds responsible for strong garbage smells.


The lamps used in our systems are manufactured to the highest standards and are guaranteed for a continuous working life of 9,000–12,000 hours. Each lamp is powered by a smart digital ballast with a pre-heat function, helping extend component lifespan and ensure reliable, consistent performance.



Carbon & Particle Reduction Support

While ozone and UVC handle odour molecules and micro-organisms, additional air purification methodologies can support overall air quality by helping reduce airborne particles and pollutants. This layered approach ensures both odour elimination and cleaner indoor air.

Smart Monitoring & Controls


Our systems make monitoring and adjustment simple:


  • The LED indicator panel displays system settings and alerts you when lamps are due for replacement
  • The ozone source indicator shows the ozone level currently in operation
  • The ACC (Adaptive Command Control) allows ozone output to be adjusted to suit each customised application


ACC can be managed via the remote-control option, during installation, or at scheduled servicing. An auxiliary socket is included to support remote-control functionality, making adjustments quick and convenient.


For sites with advanced compliance requirements, an optional Ozone Safe Monitoring System is also available.



Exclusive High Flow Air Distribution System (HFADS)

The HFADS (High Flow Air Distribution System) is exclusive to the PuraAir UVC Series.


This system includes a maintenance-free turbine blower designed for high output with whisper-quiet operation. The 25mm outlets deliver a high volume of ozone to ensure effective odour control, while the engineered airflow system also assists in cooling the internal components of the cabinet.


This means the system is constantly working to eliminate odours and clean the air efficiently and quietly.
